Third Phase of Galisteo Basin Preserve»

The Galisteo Basin Preserve is designed to conserve and restore 12,000 acres of publicly accessible open space, as well as promote a new model of environmentally responsible mixed-use, mixed-income community development.

The Galisteo Basin Preserve will facilitate public access to more than 30 miles of riding and hiking trails. It will help restore 12 miles of riparian habitat to protect wildlife and water quality. The initiative will also provide high quality inclusive housing for approximately 300 moderate-income households in Santa Fe County, New Mexico.
